Overview
Low band still matters for long-distance coverage over open country, and plenty of highway, fire and forestry systems run on it. The NX-5600HB gives those users a modern 110-watt radio with NXDN digital and FM analog, GPS, Bluetooth and a memory card slot. It mounts remotely with one or two control heads and can share them with VHF, UHF or 700/800 MHz NX-5000 decks in the same vehicle.

Several protocols and features — such as trunking, encryption and extra channel capacity — are optional software licenses. We configure each radio for your system and include the right licenses in your quote.
Note: the NX-5600HB supports NXDN 12.5 kHz conventional digital only. P25, DMR, NXDN trunking and 6.25 kHz NXDN are not available on this model.
