The EVX-S30 is a small, slim digital radio, just 3.6 inches tall and 7.6 ounces, built for staff who need to stay connected all shift without a bulky radio on their belt. It is fully waterproof (IP67), talks to your existing analog radios right out of the box, and adds safety features like Lone Worker and Emergency alerts. Available in black or high-visibility yellow.

Is this a new model?
Yes. The EVX-S30 is Motorola Solutions’ newest compact business radio, released in 2026.
Will it work with my analog radios?
Yes. It talks to analog radios right out of the box and runs DMR digital, so you can move your team to digital a few radios at a time.
Is it really waterproof?
Yes. It is IP67 rated: dust-tight and able to survive being submerged for up to 30 minutes.
What is Lone Worker?
If a user working alone does not interact with the radio for a set time, it prompts them and then sends an alert if there is no response. The Emergency button sends an alert to the rest of the team.
Black or yellow?
Same radio, two colors. Yellow is easy to spot on a job site or if it gets set down; black is more discreet for retail, hospitality and front-of-house staff.
Do I need a license?
Business radios like the EVX-S30 use FCC-licensed frequencies. We can program the radios for the license you already have, or talk you through getting one.
