Good to know
What is the difference between the CM200d and CM300d?
They are the same radio inside. The CM300d has 99 channels and an alphanumeric display that shows channel names and caller ID; the CM200d has 16 channels and a simpler numeric display.
Will it work with my analog radios?
Yes. The CM300d runs analog and digital, so it talks with the analog portables and mobiles you already have while you move to digital at your own pace.
Can you install it in my vehicles?
Yes. Our upfitting shop installs the radio, antenna, power wiring and microphone, and can add accessories such as an external speaker or visor microphone.
Can my drivers use it while driving?
Motorola notes that MOTOTRBO two-way radios are not restricted by the U.S. DOT rules that limit hand-held mobile phone use by commercial drivers. Check your own company and local rules too.
Do I need a license?
Business radios like the CM300d use FCC-licensed frequencies. We can program the radios for the license you already have, or talk you through getting one.
