Overview
The MOTOTRBO™ SL300 is Motorola Solutions’ ultra-slim business radio: under an inch thick and about 6 ounces, so it rides in a shirt pocket, apron or purse without bulging. Push-to-talk is big and easy to find, and it comes in two versions: a simple 2-channel model, or a 99-channel model whose hidden Active View LED display shows the channel right through the housing. Every SL300 is both digital and analog, so it can join the radios you already have.

Good to know
Which version do I need, 2-channel or 99-channel?
The 2-channel model is ideal when everyone stays on one or two talk groups, such as a school, store or event staff. Choose the 99-channel display model if your team switches between many channels or departments; the LED display shows which channel you are on. Not sure? Is it really pocket-sized?
Yes. It is under an inch thick with a short stubby antenna and rounded edges, so it carries in a pocket without snagging. A swivel holster and belt clip are available if you would rather wear it.
Does the SL300 have a screen or Bluetooth?
The 99-channel model has an Active View LED display that shows channel numbers and status through the front of the radio; the 2-channel model has none. Neither has a keypad or menu screen, and no Bluetooth. If you need Bluetooth, ask us about the SL3500e.
Will it talk to my older analog radios?
Yes. The SL300 runs digital and analog, so it can work alongside the analog radios you already have while you move to digital.
Will it work on a repeater or trunking system?
Yes for radio-to-radio, conventional repeaters and single-site Capacity Plus systems. For larger multi-site systems, ask us which MOTOTRBO model fits.
How do I charge it?
It charges from a micro-USB single-unit charger, and there is a six-pocket multi-unit charger for teams. Battery life is about 14 to 15 hours in digital use.
Is it waterproof?
It is IP54 rated, which means protected from dust and splashing water such as rain. It is not made to be submerged.
