Overview
The MOTOTRBO™ SLR5700 is Motorola Solutions’ compact, high-efficiency repeater: a slim 1U unit that runs at a full 50 watts around the clock. A repeater extends your radios’ range across a large property, campus or town, and the SLR5700 does it in analog, digital or mixed mode, so you can keep your existing analog radios while you move to digital. It grows with you, from a single-site system to linked and trunked MOTOTRBO systems.
Key features
- 1–50 W adjustable output at 100% duty cycle for continuous, round-the-clock operation
- Analog, digital (DMR) or dynamic mixed mode, so analog and digital radios share the system during migration
- Supports single-site conventional, IP Site Connect, Capacity Plus (single and multi-site) and Capacity Max
- Slim 1U rack-mount design with low power consumption and low heat
- Built-in 3 A battery charger for backup power, plus AC and DC inputs
- External alarm ports, auxiliary power output, front USB and two Ethernet ports
- Field-replaceable power amplifier, power supply and modem modules
- High-sensitivity receiver with improved noise blocking
Some system types and features are optional software licenses. We design and program each repeater for your system and include the right licenses in your quote.

Good to know
Do I need a repeater?
If your radios need to reach farther than radio-to-radio range, such as across a large property, multiple buildings or a whole town, a repeater on a tall antenna extends coverage for every radio on the system.
Will it work with my analog radios?
Yes. The SLR5700 can run analog, digital or dynamic mixed mode, automatically handling analog and digital calls on the same repeater, so you can upgrade radios a few at a time.
Which radios work with it?
Any MOTOTRBO radio, including the CP100d, R2, SL300, CM200d and CM300d, plus most analog business radios on your frequencies. Larger system types such as Capacity Plus and Capacity Max require radios that support them, and we will confirm compatibility in your quote.
Can it keep working when the power goes out?
Yes, with a backup battery. The built-in 3 A charger keeps a 12 V battery topped off, and the repeater runs on DC power when AC fails.
Can I link more than one site?
Yes. With IP Site Connect, Capacity Plus multi-site or Capacity Max, repeaters at different locations are linked over a network so radios stay connected as they move between sites.
What else does a repeater system need?
An FCC license for your frequencies, a duplexer, antenna, coaxial cable and a good antenna site. We handle the whole installation: system design, programming, antenna and cabling, and support.
